When the prepaid amount is exhausted, the credit meter operates in the same manner as in the embodiment of FIG. 1 when the credit limit is exhausted. A mechanical flag may be provided to indicate that additional money is required to restore power to the customer.

る電気エネルギーを測定するための測定手段と、
測定されたエネルギーに応動し、測定されたエネ
ルギーから、記憶部のプリセツトデータを用い、
基本料金を含むエネルギー消費に対する料金を金
銭の単位で演算するデジタル処理手段と、積算さ
れた料金を表示するよう機能する表示手段とを備
え、上記測定手段は需要家の負荷回路に印加され
る電圧と該負荷回路に流れる電流とを個々に検知
するための検知手段13,17を含み、デジタル
データ処理手段20は、検知された電圧及び電流
に応答して、該電圧と電流との積を演算し、更
に、上記電力計は、離隔した中央処理装置と実時
間でデータの交信を行うデータ伝送手段26を備
えるとともに、上記デジタルデータ処理手段は、
データ伝送手段26を介して伝送されるデータに
応動して記憶部のデータを交信させるように構成
